A dieline is a vector file of your flattened packaging shape used to create a die or knife. Think of a die or knife as a custom cookie-cutter that cuts the card out for your packaging project.

Some printers are going to be able to print 5 or more colours using CMYK plus color-match to any Pantone color (spot colour). Most printers can print anything from 1 colour to CYMK. Colour options may also be dependent on quantity printed (short run digital printing) and also your budget.

Yes, all packaging must comply with the Australian Consumer Law if you sell consumer products. Your packaging must include all relevant safety guidelines and information, and you must indicate the country of origin of your product. Additionally, there may be industry-specific guidelines that you must follow. If unsure, please ask us for advice.
